Cophixalus riparius Zweifel, 1962, Am. Mus. Novit., 2087: 14. Holotype: AMNH 65975, by original designation. Type locality: "at an elevation of 9100 feet beside Pengagl Creek on the east slope of Mt. Wilhelm, Territory of New Guinea [Chimbu Province, Papua New Guinea]".

Asterophrys riparia — Dubois, Ohler, and Pyron, 2021, Megataxa, 5: 479, by implication.

English Names

Distribution

Central mountain ranges of Papua New Guinea from Madang, Southern Highlands, and Western Highlands provinces southeastward to the vicinity of Wau, Morobe Province, 1800-2800 m elevation.
