Callulops sagittatus Richards, Burton, Cunningham, and Dennis, 1995, Trans. R. Soc. S. Aust., 119: 158. Holotype: UP 9051, by original designation. Type locality: "at an altitude of 2200 m on the summit of Mt Binnie, Western Province, Papua New Guinea (14° 7′ 30″ E, 5° 12′ S)".

Asterophrys sagittata — Dubois, Ohler, and Pyron, 2021, Megataxa, 5: 691, by implication. See comment under Callulops.

Known only from the type locality (Mt. Binnie, Western Province, Papua New Guinea).

Comment

Most closely related to Callulops humicola according to the original publication. Menzies, 2006, Frogs New Guinea & Solomon Is.: 245-246, provided a brief account. Shea and Kraus, 2007, Zootaxa, 1514: 37-60, commented on types.
