Callulops mediodiscus Oliver, Richards, and Tjaturadi, 2012, Zootaxa, 3178: 40. Holotype: SAMA R66016, by original designation. Type locality: "Moran Oilfield, Southern Highlands Province, Papua New Guinea (6°14.817′ S, 143° 07.523′ E, 1750 m asl)". Species name is a noun in apposition.

Asterophrys mediodiscus — Dubois, Ohler, and Pyron, 2021, Megataxa, 5: 691, by implication. See comment under Callulops

Distribution

Known only from extremely wet, mossy lower-montane rainforest (ca. 1750 m asl) on karst limestone in the upper Kikori Basin of Southern Highlands Province, Papua New Guinea.
