Austrochaperina novaebritanniae Zweifel, 2000, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 253: 45. Holotype: AMNH 83058, by original designation. Type locality: "about 12 miles (19 km) from Rabaul, East New Britain Province, Papua New Guinea, on the road to Keravat".
