Distribution

Moderate elevations in the Adelbert Moutains and mountains of the Huon Peninsula, Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea.

Comment

The record for this species from New Britain (Tyler, 1967, Trans. R. Soc. S. Aust., 91: 188) is thought to pertain to an undescribed species (Zweifel, 1980, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 165: 393-434). Menzies, 2006, Frogs New Guinea & Solomon Is.: 220-221, provided a brief account.
