Austrochaperina archboldi Zweifel, 2000, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 253: 11. Holotype: AMNH 66719, by original designation. Type locality: "Arau, Kratke Mountains, 1400 m, Eastern Highlands Province, Papua New Guinea".
