Micrixalus uttaraghati Biju, Garg, Gururaja, Shouche, and Walujkar, 2014, Ceylon J. Sci., Biol. Sci., 43: 26. Holotype: BNHS 5647, by original designation. Type locality: "Amboli, Sindhudurg dist., Maharashtra state, India".

Distribution

Known only from its type locality at Amboli (Sindhudurg District, Maharashtra state, India), which lies north of Goa gap in the Western Ghats.

In the Micrixalus elegans group of Biju, Garg, Gururaja, Shouche, and Walujkar, 2014, Ceylon J. Sci., Biol. Sci., 43: 14. Sreekumar and Dinesh, 2020, Rec. Zool. Surv. India, 120: 33–40, discussed the range in Maharashtra, India, in terms of agro-climatic zones.
