Distribution

Known only from Muli County, southwestern Sichuan, China, 3050–3400 m elevation.

Stated to be related to Scutiger mammatus in the original publication. Synonymy, without discussion, with Scutiger mammatus, by Zhao and Adler, 1993, Herpetol.
