Distribution

Known only from three localities in northern and north-central Vietnam: 1) Cham Chu Nature Reserve, Tuyen Quang Province; 2) Pe Xa Forest, Sin Ho District, Lai Chau Province;  3) Pu Lyong Nature Reserve (952 to 1003 m elevation), Thanh Hoa Province; 4) Xuan Son National Park, Phu Tho Province, Vietnam.

Reported from Thanh Hoa Province, north-central Vietnam, by Dau, Thieu , Le, Phung, and Ong, 2020, Vinh Univ. Sci. J., Vinh, 49 (1A): 71–77, who also reported on natural history and morphology. Chen, Poyarkov, Suwannapoom, Lathrop, Wu, Zhou, Yuan, Jin, Chen, Liu, Nguyen, Nguyen, Duong, Eto, Nishikawa, Matsui, Orlov, Stuart, Brown, Rowley, Murphy, Wang, and Che, 2018, Mol. Phylogenet. Evol., 124: 169, provided the record from Xuan Son National Park, Phu Tho Province, Vietnam.
