Leptolalax marmoratus Matsui, Zainudin, and Nishikawa, 2014, Zool. Sci., Tokyo, 31: 775. Holotype: KUHE 53193, by original designation. Type locality: "Annah Rais, Padawan, Kuching Division, Sarawak, Malaysia (01° 08′ 35″ N, 110° 15′ 47″ E, 71 m a.s.l.)".

Distribution

Southwestern region of Sarawak: besides the type locality, Annah Rais, Padawan, Kuching Division, the species is recorded from Sungei Regu, Padawan; Ranchan, Serian, Samarahan Division; Gunung Penrissen, Kuching Division, all 52–905 m in elevation; also reported from Bukit Baka Bukit Raya National Park, and Sungai Betung District, Bengkayang Regency, West Kalimantan Province, Indonesia (Borneo), 182 to 400 m elevation.

Comment

Previously confused, in part, with Leptolalax hamidi, according to the original publication. Reported from Bukit Baka Bukit Raya National Park, Kalimantan Province (Borneo), Indonesia by Ujang, Hadimar, Llano-Sánchez, Maiwald, and Das, 2021, Herpetol. Rev., 52: 77. Pratama, 2023, Reptiles & Amphibians, 30 (e19835): 1–2, provided a photo voucher from near Pajamet Hill, Cipta Karya Village, Sungai Betung District, Bengkayang Regency, West Kalimantan, Indonesia (0.865860 N, 109.438360 E; elev. 400 m elevation, and a dot map.
