Smith No. 2101), 1921.5.5.36 (formerly M. Smith No. 5192)). BMNH 1972.1459–1464 also recorded in museum records as syntypes. See Dubois and Ohler, 1998, Dumerilia, 4: 25–26, who tentatively including Thailand specimens in this species. See comments by Inger, Orlov, and Darevsky, 1999, Fieldiana, Zool., N.S., 92: 4. See account by Matsui, Nabhitabhata, and Panha, 1999, Japan. J. Herpetol., 18: 19–29, who noted that records from Thailand all apply to other species. See brief account and photo by Manthey and Grossmann, 1997, Amph. Rept. Südostasiens: 74–75. Stuart, 2005, Herpetol. Rev., 36: 474, noted that the report for Laos by Stuart, 1999, in Duckworth et al.
