Comment

Ohler, Wollenberg, Grosjean, Hendrix, Vences, Ziegler, and Dubois, 2011, Zootaxa, 3147: 1-83, characterized the species comparatively. Muansanga, Siammawii, Hmar, Malsawmdawngliana, Biakzuala, Decemson, Sangi, and Lalremsanga, 2021, Reptiles & Amphibians, 28: 295–297, provided several photographic vouchers from throughout central Mizoram, India. Decemson, Vanlalsiammawii, Biakzuala, Mathipi, Malsawmdawngliana, and Lalremsanga, 2021, J. Threatened Taxa, 13: 18625–18630, provided a genetically-confirmed record from Chandel District, Manipur, northeastern India
