Leptobrachella palmata Inger and Stuebing, 1992 "1991", Raffles Bull. Zool., 39: 101. Holotype: FMNH 236820, by original designation. Type locality: "bank of a small tributary of Sungai Liwagu, 310 m above sea level, Lipaso Forest Reserve, Labuk and Sugut District, Sabah", Malaysia.
