Boophis feonnyala Glaw, Vences, Andreone, and Vallan, 2001, Zool. J. Linn. Soc., 133: 520. Holotype: ZSM 585/1999, by original designation. Type locality: "Andasibe (18° 56′ S/48° 25′ E, about 900 m above sea level), central eastern Madagascar".
