Leptodactylus lauramiriamae Heyer and Crombie, 2005, Proc. Biol. Soc. Washington, 118: 590. Holotype: MZUSP 132772, by original designation. Type locality: "Brazil, Rondônia, north end of the town of Vilhena, km 16, 12° 43′ S, 60° 07′ W (coordinates for Vilhena)".

Distribution

Known only from the type localtiy in the cerrado of Rondônia, and from Tangará da Serra, Mato Grosso, Brazil.

Comment

Provisionally assigned to Leptodactylus in the original publication, in which it was noted that it shares several resemblances to Physalaemus. Unassigned to species group by de Sá, Grant, Camargo, Heyer, Ponssa, and Stanley, 2014, S. Am. J. Herpetol., 9(Spec. Issue 1): 1–123, and who provided a summary of relevant literature (adult morphology, identification, and range) on p. 89.
