Leptodactylus ajurauna Berneck, Costa, and Garcia, 2008, Zootaxa, 1795: 47. Holotype: MZUSP 136712, by original . Type locality: "Parque das Neblinas (23° 44′ 47″S; 46° 07′ 45″W), about 700 m a.s.l., Bertioga municipality, São Paulo, Brazil".

Known from four municipalities from the state of São Paulo: Bertioga (Parque das Neblinas); Mogi das Cruzes (Biritiba Ussu district), Cubão, and São Paulo (Bororé district).
