Pleurodema cinereum Cope, 1878 "1877", Proc. Am. Philos. Soc., 17: 40. Holotype: "No. 137", presumably deposited in ANSP or Philadelphia Museum, but location currently unknown. Type locality: "Juliaca at 12,500 feet", Peru.
