Physalaemus crombiei Heyer and Wolf, 1989, Proc. Biol. Soc. Washington, 102: 500. Holotype: MZUSP 66252, by original designation. Type locality: "Brazil: Espírito Santo; adjacent to Reserva Biológica Nova Lombardia, near Santa Teresa, approximately 19°55′ S, 40°36′ W".

Distribution

Known from the type locality (Reserva Biológica Nova Lombardia, Espirito Santo, Brazil) and 600 km to the north in Nova Viçosa municipality, Bahia, Brazil.

Comment

In the Physalaemus signifer group according to the original publication and of Nascimento, Caramaschi, and Cruz, 2005, Arq. Mus. Nac., Rio de Janeiro, 63: 308. Van Sluys, 1998, Herpetol.
