Distribution

Known only from montane grassland in the Ukwiva Forest Reserve, in the Rubeho Mountains, Tanzania.

Comment

Previously confused with Hyperolius spinigularis according to the original publication; see comments under Hyperolius spinigularis for relevant literature. In the Hyperolius spinigularis group ofLoader, Lawson, Portik, and Menegon, 2015, BMC Res.
