Comment

Confused with Afrixalus lindholmi by Amiet, 1972, Ann. Fac. Sci. Cameroun, 9: 127–153, according to J.-L. Perret in Laurent, 1985, in Frost (ed.), Amph. Species World: 222. See photograph, map, description of geographic range and habitat, and conservation status in Stuart, Hoffmann, Chanson, Cox, Berridge, Ramani, and Young, 2008, Threatened Amph. World: 281. Schiøtz, 1999, Treefrogs Afr.: 57, provided a brief account and map.  Amiet, 2009, Rev. Suisse Zool., 116: 85–88, provided an account for Cameroon and suggested this species to be close to Afrixalus fulvovittatus. See account by Amiet, 2012, Rainettes Cameroun: 118–123. Channing and Rödel, 2019, Field Guide Frogs & Other Amph. Afr.: 158–159, provided a brief account, photograph, and range map.
