Megaelosia apuana Pombal, Prado, and Canedo, 2003, J. Herpetol., 37: 453. Holotype: MNRJ 26057, by original designation. Type locality: "fountainhead of Rio Jucu (20° 26′ 16 S; 41° 01′ 21 W; approximately 1200 m), next to the Parque Estadual da Pedra Azul, Municipality of Domingos Martins, State of Espírito Santo, Brazil".

Phantasmarana apuana — Vittorazzi, Augusto-Alves, Neves-da-Silva, Carvalho-e-Silva, Recco-Pimentel, Toledo, Lourenço, and Bruschi, 2021, Salamandra, 57: 280.

Distribution

Known from Espíritu Santo (Municipality of Domingos Martins and Parque Nacional do Caparão, and possibly the Municipality of Santa Teresa); also reported from Reserva Particular do Patrimônio Natural Mata do Sossego, municipality of Simonésia, eastern Minas Gerais, all localities in Brazil.
