Figueiredo, Tavares-Pinheiro, Lopes, Pedroso-Santos, Sanches, Sousa, Santos, Lima, Lima, and Costa-Campos, 2021, Check List, 17: 1123–1130, reported on distribution, including the first records from Amapá, Brazil, and vocalization. Taucce, Costa-Campos, Carvalho, and Michalski, 2022, Eur. J. Taxon., 836: 96–130, reported on distribution, literature, and conservation status for Amapá, Brazil. Lescure, Dewynter, Frétey, Ineich, Ohler, Vidal, and De Massary, 2022, Bull. Soc. Herpetol.
