Phyllodytes melanomystax Caramaschi, Silva, and Britto-Pereira, 1992, Copeia, 1992: 187. Holotype: MNRJ 4823, by original designation. Type locality: "Guaibim (13° 17′ S, 38° 58′ W, at sea level), Valença Municipality, State of Bahia, Brazil".

Distribution

Known only from the type locality on the southern coast of Bahia, Brazil.

Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 294: 110. Juncá, 2006, Biota Neotrop., 6: 1–17, briefly summarized the presence of this species in the Serra da Jibóia region, Bahia, Brazil, and its habitat.
