Phyllodytes gyrinaethes Peixoto, Caramaschi, and Freire, 2003, Herpetologica, 59: 239. Holotype: MNRJ 23986, by original designation. Type locality: "Fazenda Bananeiras, Municipality of Murici (09° 13′ S, 35° 52′ W, 650 m altitude), State of Alagoas, Brazil".
