Phyllodytes acuminatus Bokermann, 1966, An. Acad. Brasil. Cienc., 38: 342. Holotype: WCAB 2701, by original designation; now in MZUSP. Type locality: "Mangabeiras, Alagoas, Brasil".

Distribution

Known only from Alagoas and Recife and municipality of Buíque, in Pernambuco, Brazil.

Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 294: 110. Santos and Silva, 2010, Herpetol. Rev., 41: 104, provided a second record for Pernambuco, Brazil, and commented on the range. Campos, Lima, Nascimento, and Santos, 2014, Zootaxa, 3779: 93–100, reported on larval morphology and advertisement call. Dubeux, Silva, Nascimento, Gonçalves, and Mott, 2019, Rev.
