Hyla zhaopingensis Tang and Zhang, 1984, Acta Zootaxon. Sinica, 9: 441. Holotype: GXNU 830178, by original designation. Type locality: "Majiang (140 m), Zhaoping County, Guangxi [Autonomous Region]", China.

Distribution

Known only from the type locality (Majiang, Zhaoping County) in eastern Guangxi, China.

Comment

Related to Hyla simplex according to original publication. Zhang and Wen, 2000, Amph. Guangxi: 67, provided an account. Zhang, 2002, Sichuan J. Zool., 21: 198-199, provided a key to differentiate this species from others in China. In the Hyla arborea group of Faivovich, Haddad, Garcia, Frost, Campbell, and Wheeler, 2005, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat.
