Dendropsophus salli Jungfer, Reichle, and Piskurek, 2010, Salamandra, 46: 206. Holotype: MNK-A 8445, by original designation. Type locality: "about 7 km ESE of Rurrenabaque near the road to Yucumo (14° 26′ 11″ S, 67° 29′ 35″ W), 340 m a.s.l., Provincia Ballivian, Departamento Beni, Bolivia".

English Names

None noted.

Distribution

Muncipalities of Taraucá and Porto Acre, and Feijó in Acre, and Espigão do Oreste in Rondônia, Brazil, Departamento Madre de Dios in Peru, and south in Bolivia from the northern parts of the Departamento Pando southward to the northern parts of the Chiquitano Dry Forest near San Rafael. 

Comment

In the Dendropsophus leucophyllatus group, and confused with Dendropsophus bifurcus and Dendropsophus leucophyllatus prior to its naming, according to the original publication. Melo-Sampaio and Souza, 2015, Check List, 11 (Art. 1681): 1–6, reported several localities in Rondônia and Acre, Brazil, and briefly discussed the range.  Schulze, Jansen, and Köhler, 2015, Zootaxa, 4016: 35–36, described, diagnosed, and pictured the larva.
