Amazonian slopes of Andes in northern and central Peru.

The Hyla minima group should be placed within the Hyla parviceps group according to Duellman, 2001, Hylid Frogs Middle Am., Ed. 2: 859. See comment under Dendropsophus relating to the status of the minimus group.
