Distribution

Cloud forests at elevations of 1700-2400 m on the eastern slopes of the Andes from central Peru to central Bolivia.

Comment

The sole member of the Hyla armata group according to Duellman, De la Riva, and Wild, 1997, Sci. Pap. Nat. Hist. Mus. Univ. Kansas, 3: 13. De la Riva, Köhler, Lötters, and Reichle, 2000, Rev. Esp.
