Distribution

Ecuadorian (Provincia Napo) and Peruvian Amazon basin (Región Loreto), from 180 to 420 m elevations; expected to have a larger range. 

Comment

In the Hypsiboas calcaratus complex and differentiable from Hypsiboas alfaroi only by genetic markers or call according to the original publication.
