Rural Rio de Janeiro, 8: 103-105. Call described by Abrunhosa, Pimenta, Cruz, and Haddad, 2005, Arq. Mus. Nac., Rio de Janeiro, 63: 275–282. Faivovich, Haddad, Garcia, Frost, Campbell, and Wheeler, 2005, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 294: 82, transferred this group into Aplastodiscus, as the Aplastidiscus albisignatus group.
