Gastrotheca trachyceps Duellman, 1987, J. Herpetol., 21: 44. Holotype: KU 144123, by original designation. Type locality: "Cerro Munchique on the road to the Pacific coast from El Tambo, 2170 m (02° 28′ N, 77° 01′ W), Departamento de Cauca, Colombia".
