Synonymy (with Nototrema bolivianum) by Boulenger, 1900, Zool. Rec., 36: 28. Synonymy with Nototrema marsupiatum by Nieden, 1923, Das Tierreich, 46: 320.

Gastrotheca lauzuricae De la Riva, 1992, Rev. Esp. Herpetol., 6: 18. Holotype: CET 501, by original designation. Type locality: "La Siberia, a 40 Km de Comarapa en dirección a Poho (17° 48′ S/64° 46′ O), provincia Carrasco, departamento de Cochabamba, 2800 m", Bolivia. Synonymy by  Duellman, 2015, Marsupial Frogs: 298.

English Names

La Siberia Marsupial Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 53, as Gastrotheca lauzuricae).

Distribution

Know definitely from three localties at elevations of 2000 and 2800 m on the eastern slope of the Cordillera Oriental in central Bolivia.
