Distribution

Know definitely only from the type locality, Chaco, in Yungas forests of the Department of La Paz. Bolivia, 2042 m elevation.

Removed from the synonymy Nototrema bolivianum (where it had been placed by Boulenger, 1900, Zool. Rec., 36: 28) and placed into the synonymy of Nototrema marsupiatum by Nieden, 1923, Das Tierreich, 46: 320.
