Comment

See account by Inger, 1954, Fieldiana, Zool., 33: 256-259. See map, description of geographic range and habitat, and conservation status in Stuart, Hoffmann, Chanson, Cox, Berridge, Ramani, and Young, 2008, Threatened Amph. World: 489. Chan, Schoppe, Rico, and Brown, 2020, Philipp. J. Syst. Biol., 14: 1–14, reported on molecular phylogeography finding 6–7% sequence divergence between Tawi-Tawi I. versus Zamboanga (Palawan) were 6–7% divergent, suggesting strongly that nominal Occidozyga diminutiva is a species complex.
