CEPF Burrowing Frog (original publication). 


Known only from the northern Western Ghats state of Maharashtra, India, where it has been genetically confirmed from the type locality (Amboli) and the Phansad Wildlife Sanctuary (Raigad district), and Koyna (Satara district).  


In the Fejervarya rufescens group according to the original publication.
