Limnonectes taylori Matsui, Panha, Khonsue, and Kuraishi, 2010, Zootaxa, 2615: 10. Holotype: CUMZ A-7708, by original designation. Type locality: "Ban Khun Klang, 1350 m, Doi Inthanon, Chiang Mai Province, Thailand (18° 31′ N, 98° 30′ E, 1350 m a.s.l.)".

Distribution

Northwestern region of Thailand in the provinces of Chiang Mai, Mae Hong Son, Lam Pang, Nan, and Tak at elevations of 650–1650 m, extending into extreme east-central Myanmar (Shan), and adjacent Yunnan, China, as well as northwestern and northern-most Laos.

In the Limnonectes kuhlii complex according to the original publication. Chan-ard, Cota, and Makchai, 2011, Amph. E.
