Limnonectes quangninhensis Cuong, Le, Nguyen, Ziegler, Wu, and Nguyen, 2017, Zootaxa, 4269: 549. Holotype: IEBR 3907, by original designation. Type locality: "in the evergreen forest near Tai Chi Village (21°31.785’N, 107°38.965’E, at an elevation of 195 m), Quang Son Commune, Hai Ha District, Quang Ninh Province, Vietnam". 

English Names

Quangninh Wart Frog (original publication). 


Extreme northeastern Vietnam in Quang Ninh Province, Vietnam on the mainland and islands of the Gulf of Tonkin; presumably to be found in adjacent China.  


The sister taxon of Limnonectes fujianensis according to the original publication.
