Comment

In the Limnonectes (Limnonectes) kuhlii group of Dubois, 1987 "1986", Alytes, 5: 63. See Bourret, 1942, Batr. Indochine: 285–286. See comment under Limnonectes tweediei. See brief account and photo by Manthey and Grossmann, 1997, Amph. Rept. Südostasiens: 100. Leong and Lim, 2003, Raffles Bull. Zool., 51: 126–128, provided a record from Raub District, Pahang, West Malaysia, and described larval morphology. See photograph, map, description of geographic range and habitat, and conservation status in Stuart, Hoffmann, Chanson, Cox, Berridge, Ramani, and Young, 2008, Threatened Amph. World: 483. Poyarkov, Nguyen, Popov, Geissler, Pawangkhanant, Neang, Suwannapoom, and Orlov, 2021, Russ. J. Herpetol., 28 (3A): 25, suggested on biogeographic grounds that the record of Limnonectes nitidus (Grosjean, Bordoloi, Chuaynkern, Chakravarty, and Ohler, 2015, Zootaxa, 4058: Suppl. data, Appendix A) from Phang Nga Province, Thailand, is likely a misidentification of Limnonectes pseudodoriae; the identification of this specimen requires confirmation.
