Comment

In the Limnonectes (Limnonectes) grunniens group of Dubois, 1987 "1986", Alytes, 5: 63, who also removed it from the syonymy of Rana magna, where it had been placed by Inger, 1958, Fieldiana, Zool., 39: 253-255. See photograph, map, description of geographic range and habitat, and conservation status in Stuart, Hoffmann, Chanson, Cox, Berridge, Ramani, and Young, 2008, Threatened Amph. World: 481, who suggested that the Moro population is not conspecific with the other populations and that this may be a species complex.
