Distribution

Known only from the type locality (Nicobar Island, India).

Comment

Removed provisionally from the synonymy of Fejervarya andamanensis by Dubois, 1987 "1986", Alytes, 5: 61, where it had been placed by Dubois, 1984, Alytes, 3: 154. Sarkar and Ray, 2006, In Alfred (ed.), Fauna of Arunachal Pradesh, Part 1: 297, provided a questionable report for Arunachal Pradesh, as well as for West Bengal.
