Mannophryne orellana Barrio-Amorós, Santos, and Molina, 2010, Phyllomedusa, 9: 5. Holotype: CVULA 7165, by original designation. Type locality: "from the Pregonero-La Trampa Road, Estado Táchira, Venezuela (08° 01′ N, 71° 43′ W), elevation".

Distribution

Southwestern edge of the Cordillera de Mérida in the Uribante Valley, and the northeastern side of the Cordillera Oriental de Colombia in Venezuela; possibly to be found in adjacent Norte de Santander, Colombia.

Comment

Most similar to Mannophryne collaris according to the original publication, where it was also noted that the species name is a noun in apposition.. Rojas-Runjaic, Matta-Pereira, and La Marca, 2018, Zootaxa, 4461: 451–476, distinguished the species and discussed the range. See Barrio-Amorós, Rojas-Runjaic, and Señaris, 2019, Amph.
