Mannophryne caquetio Mijares-Urrutia and Arends-R., 1999, Caribb. J. Sci., 35: 232. Holotype: EBRG 3570, by original designation. Type locality: "Mapararí, Muncipio Federación, Sierra de Churuguara, estado Falcón, Venezula (aprox. 10° 47′ N, 69° 25′ W), ± 800 m."
