Allobates algorei Barrio-Amorós and Santos, 2009, Phyllomedusa, 8: 91. Holotype: EBRG 5560, by original designation. Type locality: "Río Negro, Municipio Córdoba, Estado Táchira, Venezuela, '07° 34.723′ N, 72° 10.739′ W', elevation 482 m".

Spotted Nurse Frog (original publication).

Distribution

Eastern piedmont of the Cordillera Oriental, Estado Táchira, Venezuela, near the Colombian border where it may ultimately be found.

Comment

Confused with Allobates humilis prior to its description according to the original publication.
