Cryptophyllobates chlorocraspedus Caldwell, 2005, Herpetologica, 61: 451. Holotype: MPEG 12504, by original designation. Type locality: "Brazil: Acre: ca. 5 km west of Porto Walter (8° 15′ 31.2″ S by 72° 46′ 37.1″ W), a small village on the Rio Juruá".
