Hyalinobatrachium tricolor Castroviejo-Fisher, Vilà, Ayarzagüena, Blanc, and Ernst, 2011, Zootaxa, 3132: 33. Holotype: MNCN 44827, by original designation. Type locality: "Crique Wapou (04° 26′ N, 52° 9′ W; 2 m), Kaw, French Guiana".

Distribution

Currently known only from the low-elevation regions of Crique Wapou, Réserve Naturelle des Marais de Kaw-Roura, and in Kaw Mountain, French Guiana, as well as Serra do Navio, Amapá, Brazil

Comment

Confused with Hylinobatrachium iaspidiense prior to its naming according to the original publication. Costa-Campos, Bang, Figueiredo, Tavares-Pinheiro, and Fouquet, 2021, Check List, 17: 637–642, provided a record from Serra do Navio, Amapá, Brazil, and described the advertisement call for this population. Taucce, Costa-Campos, Carvalho, and Michalski, 2022, Eur. J. Taxon., 836: 96–130, reported on distribution, literature, and conservation status for Amapá, Brazil.
