Centrolenella colymbiphyllum Taylor, 1949, Univ. Kansas Sci. Bull., 33: 262. Holotype: KU 23812, by original designation. Type locality: "American Cinchona Plantation, elev. 5,600 ft., Caribbean drainage of Volcán Poas, [Cantón de Alajuela, Provincia de Alajuela,] Costa Rica". Distribution
Atlantic versant near Catamacas, Departamento de Olancho, Honduras; Central and southeastern Costa Rica through Panama to the western slope of the Cordillera Occidental in Colombia, south to Valle del Cauca, 850–1800 m elevation.
