Cochranella adiazeta Ruiz-Carranza and Lynch, 1991, Lozania, 60: 4. Holotype: ICN 17919, by original designation. Type locality: "Departmento de Santander, municipio de San Gil, 7 km SW (carreterra San Fil-Socorro), vertiente occidental, Cordillera Oriental, 6° 30′ latitud N, 73° 10′ W de Greenwich, 1180 m", Colombia.

Distribution

Western versant of the Cordillera Oriental of Colombia in the departments of Cundinamarca, Boyacá, Santander, and Tolima (4° 15′-6° 30′ N), 1130-2060 m elevation.

Comment

In the Cochranella ocellata group according to the original publication. Placed in the Cochranella spinosa group by Savage, 2002, Amph. Rept. Costa Rica: 365. Rada and Guayasamin, 2008, Pap. Avulsos Zool., São Paulo, 48: 99, provided a range extension in Colombia. World: 212. Ovalle-Pacheco, Camacho-Rozo, and Arroyo, 2019, Check List, 15: 392, reported the species from western Boyaca, Colomia.
