Nymphargus vicenteruedai Velásquez-Álvarez, Rada, Sánchez-Pacheco, and Acosta-Galvis, 2007, S. Am. J. Herpetol., 2: 192. Holotype: MUJ 4390, by original designation. Type locality: "Santuario de Fauna and Flora Guanentá--Alto Río Fonce, quebrada Aguas Claras, Department of Santander, Colombia, 2650-2700 m, ca 06°01′13.3″N, 73°05′52.4″ W".
