Bufo taiensis Rödel and Ernst, 2000, Herpetofauna, Weinstadt, 22: 10. Holotype: SMNS 9269, by original designation. Type locality: "Elfenbeinküste: Taï-Nationalpark, 5° 15′—6° 07′ N, 7° 25′—7° 54′ W, etwa 23 km östlich der Ortschaft Taï", southwestern Ivory Coast.

Bufo amieti Tandy and Perret, 2000, Rev. Suisse Zool., 107: 390. Holotype: MHNG 2594.17, by original designation. Type locality: "lowland rainforest near Taï, Taï National Park, Côte-d'Ivoire (5° 52′ N 7° 28′ W, altitude 123 m)". Synonymy by S. Distribution

Known only from Tai National Park in southwestern Ivory Coast, although likely in adjacent Liberia.

Comment

In the Bufo tuberosus group according to the original publication. See comment under Bufo amieti. Schätti, Perret, and Mariaux, 2002, Cat. Comm. Types Amph. Rept. Mus. Hist. Nat.
