Type locality: "Quebrada San Alberto (ca. 10° 34′ S, 75° 23′ W) at 1950 m a.s.l., in the buffer zone of the Yanachaga-Chemillén National Park (Sector San Alberto), Distrito de Oxapampa, Provincia de Oxapampa, Región Pasco, Peru". Distribution
Although currently only known from within 60 km of the type locality, it is expected to occur in montane cloud and near-cloud forests in montane Pasco and Junín, Peru, 1800 to 2230 m elevation.
